Our Violent Lips Photo shoot....
                                           

So we are sooooo excited about the success of our latest photo shoot. On July 12th we had a huge shoot at Lavish Salon for our newest retail product Violent Lips which turned out amazing.

We had 6 models from all ages that shot with Photographer Kris Lumague into the late hours of the night.

The long day started with the models with our Make-up Department with Makeup Artists Nikki Garcia and our very own Ashley Swank and Erika Murguia. Then made their way into our Hair department where the the transformations continued with Master Stylists Samantha Murguia and Senior Stylists Sarah Leslie and

Cecy Ceja.

Kris did an outstanding job and handled the whole shoot so well with what vision we were aiming for. He captured our models perfectly and thanks to our amazing team we have some great photos to look forward to.

Its summer! And we all know what that means… fun in the sun! But, we have to remember to protect our skin! Sun block is the most important summer essential. Without it our skin will get sunburned and dry. SPF is the SUN PROTECTION FACTOR, that means it measures how much it protects us, not how long we can stay in the sun. Many people believe “ the more SPF the better”’ but that’s not the case. SPF above 30 has many chemicals and can be dangerous to your skin. In between 15 and 30 is safe and healthy.

Sunblock comes in many different variations from lotions to sprays. But make sure to put a special sun block for your face. Many tinted moisturizers have an SPF of 15, which is perfect for your face Lavish has many sun blocks for your face, which come in powders or lotions. Currently working on mixes for the legendary DJ/Producer Artie the 1 Man Party on his website www.houseessentilasmixshow.com. With an eclectic knowledge and passion for music whether it's dirty house beats or floor jumping electro tracks that get you going DJ Rock N Rolla will surely take you on an unforgettable ride for the senses. So lets talk about this subject that us as women can sometimes cringe even thinking about! WAXING!!!…and not just waxing anywhere, but down there! Yes, I said it DOWN THERE!

Bikini: Hair is removed everywhere on and outside of where your bikini line is.

                     Brazilian: Hair is removed from the front except for a thin strip; also hair is completely removed from the back.

Playboy: Hair is removed completely from front to back.

FAQ’s

Q: Does it hurt?

A: Of course, however with each time you get the service the pain usually is less and less. And PAIN is BEAUTY ladies!!!!

Q: How long does the hair need to be?

A: The hair needs to be between a quarter of an inch to a half inch so if you have a a lot going on down there make sure to do some trimming prior to your appointment.

Q: How long does it take for the hair to grow back?

A: This is different for every client but usually it’s about 4-5 weeks before you need have your next appointment.

Q: Will the hair grow back thicker?

A: No. Actually you will see that your hair will come back thinner even after your first visit. Awesome right?!?

Q: How long does the service take?

A: Its pretty quick! Each service varies but approx. 30-45 minutes.
